The Bothy Wine and Scotch Tasting

We're holding a wine and scotch tasting event at the Bothy.
There will be wine and whisky flights paired with a delicious appetizer menu.
 
The wines:
Map Maker Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
Peccatore Tempranillo Blend, Portugal
Vina Arboleda Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile
The Single Malts:
Auchentoshan Classic, Lowlands
Glen Garioch 12 Year old, Highlands
Bowmore 12 year old, Islay
 
The menu:
Beef Tenderloin peppercorn crust with a arugula lettuce, parmesan cheese, ciabatta bread and topped with white truffle oil & smoked sea salt.
 
Seafood Trio:

  • pan seared scallop wrapped with prosciutto, artichoke chive risotto
  • crab cake, avocado salsa, balsamic gastrique
  • blackened tuna, watermelon steak

 
Alberta Foot Hills Trio:

  • beef tenderloin wrapped in smoked bacon, au jus
  • rack of lamb scented with fresh herbs, olive oil, mint jus
  • duck confit and wild mushroom ragout, herb crèpe, cranberry mustard hollandaise

 
Cheese and Charcuterie plate, Selection served with baguette and condiments
 
Whisky & Bacon ice cream
