History
The South Edmonton Business Association, previously known as the South Edmonton Businessman's Association, originated in the early 1900's. With the amalgamation of the City of Strathcona and the City of Edmonton, it was beneficial for the business community south of the river to form an association to deal with mutual business interests and concerns in this area. The Association has always been fortunate enough to attract excellent individuals to it's Board of directors and Executive positions.
The South Edmonton Business Association is NOT a Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ). SEBA does not receive any funding from the city. Its only source of revenue is from the sale of memberships.
