What Is SEBA?

SEBA is a community of over 150 business people who care about South Edmonton. From Whyte Avenue to South Edmonton Common, Terwillegar to Mill Woods, and beyond these boundaries there are many thousands of small and medium sized businesses operating and thriving. We provide a conduit to encourage conversation, knowledge sharing, and networking among these businesses.

SEBA is not a Business Revitalization Zone, it is an Alberta Society and our mandate comes directly from our membership.

What Does SEBA Do?

SEBA holds many value-add events for our membership. From Sep to May we hold monthly speaker luncheons that cover topics ranging from economics to entrepreneurship and an excellent way to feed your knowledge.

Our biggest draw is our monthly business mixers. Usually scheduled the last Thursday of each month, our mixers are a great place to unwind and relax in a community of your peers. Most of our mixers are free, informal and well attended.

We also hold several special events during the year, like our annual Golf Tournament and SEBAFest,our member appreciation mixer.

Why Should I Join SEBA?

As we mentioned, SEBA is an Alberta Society and we get our mandate from our membership. Your membership fees help cover the operational costs to plan, organize and run our mixers and luncheons.

Members take advantage of discounts to paid events, members are listed in the Business Directory on our SEBA website, members get first chance for sponsorship and promotional opportunities at SEBA events, and you get to shape the future of this great and historic organization.
